Whiteleys is the Wellington School Charity of the Year

After a really positive nominations process, where several amazing charities were discussed, we are thrilled to be supporting the fabulous local charity, Whiteleys Retreat, for session 26-27! The charity, which was put forward by Lemoni and Holly, provides vital respite opportunities for children and families.

Since its initial purchase in 2018, Whiteleys staff and volunteers have tirelessly create self catering cottages surrounded by beautiful gardens, countryside and local wildlife. Additionally, the charity boasts a Garden of Wellbeing, Sensory Playpark, Animals and an Area for Reflection.

Fundraising with purpose – Wellington aims to support the charity’s vital work by fundraising for a special inclusive playground space, which will ensure that children with a range of disabilities can play alongside their friends and families.
