School Administration Assistant

Wellington School has a vacancy for an Administration Assistant to work within the senior school.  The post is offered on a 2 years Fixed Term basis with an all year round working pattern.   Annual leave is 46 days and the school operates a staff pension scheme.

The job is a very fast paced and varied one, and we need somebody who is confident with a variety of administration and support tasks.

You will support our teachers by printing learning materials ; carrying out a daily check on pupil registration ; liaising with outside suppliers and organisations, including booking venues and school transport; assisting with school events and keeping our own internal booking systems and resource calendars up to date.  The role also has specific responsibility to provide administrative support to our very busy PE department.

You will need to be able to work accurately and at a fast pace, using modern office technologies and information systems.
