Every year, junior school pupils are awarded for their academic achievements as well as in sport and for their commendable attitude.
This year, the event took place at Ayr Saint Columba Church and was held on the last week of term. The Junior School Orchestra opened the ceremony with their rendition of ‘Tangonator’, which was followed by an Address from Mr Cox and Presentation of Books, Year, Sports & Special Prizes by Mrs Morgans. The ceremony ended with a Congratulations and Vote of Thanks by Ms Johnston.
The staff, pupils, families and friends of Wellington School were treated to performances including; ‘Caterpillar Boogie’ by Primary 1, ‘I am a Small Part of the World’ by Primary 2/3, ‘Skye Boat Song’ by pupil Lara Marshall & the ‘Aladdin Medley’ by Primary 4/5.
The Junior Prize Giving is a memorable and enjoyable day for everyone who attends, and this year was no exception. The school is extremely proud of all our pupils and their achievements to date. We hope everyone has a great summer break and we look forward to welcoming you all back at the start of next term.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
