A Trip to 10 Downing Street for Isla · Wellington School Ayr

S2 pupil, Isla, was invited by the Prime Minister to join him at 10 Downing Street last week ahead of COP26 for a Cultural Showcase and Reception. Isla’s design for the Creative Earth logo competition was one of only 5 to be selected from 5,500 entries where pupils across the country were asked to show the judges their vision for the planet of the future. Isla and her mum travelled to London and bumped elbows with Boris Johnston at Number 10 before being treated to an evening of film, music and dance to inspire action on climate change.
