Artistic Exploration for S2 & S3

Our new Head of Art, Mrs Morton, took pupils on an artistic adventure this week…

S3 Art pupils, and S2 pupils selecting Art in S3, visited Kelvingrove Art Gallery in Glasgow this week. It was a fantastic trip, especially seeing our pupils take part in the Glasgow Museums Art Competition (more details on this inspiring competition can be found here.

We also visited the Mackintosh exhibition and had the opportunity to take part in active learning workshops to get a hands on experience of how to replicate the Glasgow Style of Design. This was a great experience giving us an insight into Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s work in the context of his time and contemporaries.'[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
