Ayr-Wellington Rugby and Ayr Rugby Academy

Rugby is a big part of Wellington life and we are lucky enough to have a strong partnership with Ayr Rugby Club, which provides great opportunities for our pupils interested in playing the sport. Ayr-Wellington offers youth rugby from S1s to under-18s, and mini rugby from P1s to P7s.

The youth rugby coaching has a particular focus on the SRU Key National Themes, more details of SRU Key National Themes can be found here.

The club also runs the Ayr Rugby Academy to nurture the most promising young male and female players and discover the Robbie Fergussons and Mark Bennetts of the future!
