Ayrshire Netball Success

We’re delighted to share some fantastic news following the Ayrshire District Netball trials. 

Prior to the summer holidays, a large number of our pupils trialled for the Ayrshire District Netball team. We are delighted to share that Wellington had fantastic success, with following eight girls selected to represent Ayrshire this season:

U15 – Penny, Grace & Luella

U17 – Sophie, Eva, Freya & Mia

U19 – Holly

This is a fantastic achievement and one that the girls should be incredibly proud of. More than 150 players trialled across the age groups, with only 50 places available in total. For Wellington to have eight pupils selected from a school of our size is an outstanding achievement and a real reflection of their talent and commitment.

A huge congratulations to all eight girls – we wish them every success representing Ayrshire this season!
