A group of 23 pupils in S4 to S6 and 3 members of staff will embark on a unique four-week journey to Cambodia during the summer holidays. The group has been working tirelessly over the past year to fundraise and on Sunday, 12th March, they have organised a fantastic event at Elliot’s in Prestwick (from 4 to 7pm)

Pupils will entertain guests with music and song with tickets being sold on the door (£5 each). In honour of the occasion, Elliot’s will also be offering a special rate on a fantastic two course menu.

  • Over 50% of Cambodian children do not receive a decent standard of education. Wellington pupils will help generations of children and babies by helping to build a new school classroom or kindergarten.
  • 33% of the population live below the poverty line living on less than $1 a day. Wellington pupils will help construct urgently needed community housing for some of the most impoverished families.
  • Pupils will also be involved in an environmental protection project replanting saplings in areas affected by deforestation.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
