A group of S2 & S3 pupils had the exciting opportunity to visit the Sky Academy Skills Studios in Livingston as part of their Modern Studies/Citizenship education.

They produced a news report on the theme of ‘Youth Vote’ and put forward some very convincing arguments about why the voting age should be lowered to 16 across the UK. Using the latest technologies and trying their hand at jobs ranging from ‘Director’ to ‘Expert Witness’, everyone had an important role to play.

Miss MacGlade, Mr McDougall and Mrs Shaw were very impressed with the teamwork and communication skills shown by all and everyone had a great afternoon. Pupils will soon receive their wristbands containing a copy of their news report, so watch this space!
