[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1635778464331{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Planes, coaches, jeeps, rickshaws, elephants, camels, bears and monkeys – India lived up to the expectations of our S5 and S6 travellers who have just returned from their tour of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.

The sightseeing was intense with the Taj Mahal one of the highlights of the trip. However, it was the contact with the locals which made the biggest impression on many of our pupils: the friendly welcome at St Edmund’s School and the opportunity to meet pupils; shopping for saris with our personal shoppers from the St Edmund’s staff and, in particular, the emotional afternoon at the government school where our group handed over the pullovers most generously donated by our Primary pupils.

A full report on our visit will be published in the Winter edition of The Turret.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
