P7’s Magical Christmas Trip to Germany

P7 kicked off December with their much-anticipated Magical Christmas trip to Germany, accompanied by eight S6 mentors who helped with group activities throughout the trip. Upon arrival at our exchange partner school, the Mallinckrodt Gymnasium, pupils and staff were given a warm welcome during a special ceremony, which set the stage for a truly memorable experience.

A highlight of their trip was a visit to Dortmund Christmas markets where they enjoyed delicious treats and selected gifts for their friends and family back home. With their mentors and guides from Class 6A, the pupils also explored some of Dortmund’s iconic sights, learned about the city’s culture and history.

A special moment during the trip was when S6 pupil, Ewan was invited to play his bagpipes at the school advent service. His performance delighted everyone in the church.

Their time in Germany was filled with laughter, learning and plenty of Christmas cheer – an experience pupils will undoubtably treasure for years to come.
