The British Heart Foundation’s ‘Call Push Rescue’ CPR Training
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1542989618179{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]At Wellington, we all know we are in safe hands but never has this been truer since life-saving became part of the curriculum. Yes, you did read that right!
This session, every pupil from S1 to S6 is being given the opportunity to become a life saver thanks to the British Heart Foundation’s ‘Call Push Rescue’ CPR training kit. Wellington has put this excellent resource to good use and around 60 pupils and staff have already completed their training. The kit contains 10 reusable inflatable mannequins and a practise-while-watching training DVD.
Pupils are being taught these essential life (and life-saving!) skills as part of the Personal & Social Education (PSE) programme. Staff are, on the other hand, taking advantage of the training to ensure pupil safety is never compromised and as another addition to their already very long lists of achievements/talents/superpowers.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
