SQA Results – 2019/20

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1635776693165{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]The SQA exam results went out earlier today and although circumstances are different this year, we are thrilled with the achievements of our pupils.  Below is a statement from Mr Johnson with further information on this year’s exam diet and results.

“Although the context of the SQA results is unusual this year, once again we have much to celebrate. The grades awarded may not be based on a traditional diet of exams, but they are based on the hard work and demonstrated attainment of pupils throughout the year and I congratulate all of our candidates on their achievements.  Once again, Wellington pupils excelled at every level, with pass rates of 95% at National 5, 94% at Higher and 98% at Advanced Higher.  Impressively, 70% of National 5 awards were at grade A, whilst 59% of Highers and an outstanding 72% of Advanced Highers were awarded at the top grade.  These results reflect also the commitment and dedication of our teaching staff and I thank them most sincerely for the inspiration and support that they provide.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
