This academic year marks a landmark in our school history – our centenary at Carleton Turrets. Our aim is to celebrate this milestone with the whole school community, past, present and future, while also using this opportunity to fundraise to enhance current facilities. We would like to transform our school hall into a more attractive facility that is better equipped to benefit all pupils.

One of the highlights of our centenary celebrations will be the Centenary Ball on Saturday 18 November, to which all the Wellington community are warmly invited; parents, FPs, friends of the school. We anticipate that this will be a very popular event and advise buying tickets early to avoid disappointment using this link: Eventbrite

The ball will feature an auction of ‘100 Prizes for 100 Years’ which will be concluded during the evening.  If you are able to offer a prize for our auction, please contact Aimee Patton at apatton@wellingtonschool.org  All prizes will be gratefully accepted, whether a holiday stay, event, hamper or a bottle of wine. Please drop off any donations at the main office.

A Centenary Programme will also be produced as part of the ball, and we would like to invite any interested parents, staff and former pupils to advertise their businesses in this. Additionally, if you wish to sponsor a feature of this event such as the band, arrival drinks, table-top merchandise, decorations etc. please contact Aimee Patton for more details.

If you would like to find out more about our history and plans for the future, as well as updated information on other Centenary events, please visit our Centenary page of the website.
