Christmas Craft Fair Raises £3201.44 for Blood Cancer UK
Despite challenging windy weather, the Wellington community came together for a successful Christmas Craft Fair on Saturday 7th December. Organised by S6 pupils and staff, the event saw a fantastic turnout of attendees, all eager to get into the Christmas spirit while supporting a great cause.
A special thank you goes out to the S6 pupils, staff helpers, talented musicians, and stallholders, whose hard work and dedication ensured the event ran smoothly. Local businesses also played a key role, generously donating raffle prizes that helped raise even more funds. Thank you also to friends and families who bought raffle tickets and donated items such as bottles and teddies. These contributions were instrumental in making the fair a success.
Through everyone’s combined efforts, the event raised an incredible total of £3201.44, all of which will be donated to this year’s S6 charity, Blood Cancer UK.
