Mr Cooke will be joined by his dedicated support crew of one, his wife, Mrs Cooke, who will face the equally challenging tasks of driving the motorhome across the country while managing all the logistics. They plan to depart from Land’s End, Cornwall, on Monday 28th April, with the aim of reaching John O’Groats by Sunday 4th May. Along the way, they will be averaging 130-150 miles per day, covering a total distance of just under 1,000 miles!

Mr Cooke shared:

“We are delighted to contribute to raising money for Blood Cancer UK and be able to play our part in fundraising on behalf of the school as Wellington has been part of our family’s life since our eldest daughter Gabriella joined the nursery in 2008, followed by Annika a couple of years later. Annika’s best friend since nursery has a personal connection to this form of cancer and we know how important the donations are to ensure better testing and treatments are available to patients now and in the future.”

We would like to wish Mr and Mrs Cooke the best of luck on this incredible journey! If you would like to support the Cookes’ fundraiser and contribute to our S6 charity, please follow the link below:
